Job Description

Were seeking an Agile Change Analyst to join our team and streamline our change processes using Agile best practices. In this role, youll work directly with the Agile Practices and Delivery Lead to enhance productivity and ensure our changes are deliveredsafely and that we provide maximum value for our customers.Youll collaborate with teams across Technology Services, introducing automation-first strategies to refine our change processes. Youll play a critical role in getting the most value from our Atlassian tools, elevating our overall approach to change, andimproving processes across the wider business.What does the job involve

  • Support the rollout of Agile Practices and DevOps, working with SMEs to co-ordinate training sessions as needed on topics such as DevOps / Kanban / AWS / Deployment Principles, etc.
  • Chair and organise the Monthly Developer Community of Practice.
  • Assistance of JIRA / Confluence / Jira Service Management Administration.
  • Work with the automation team to build out best-in-class capabilities with an automation-first mindset.
  • Work with the Incident Management team and stay close to root cause analysis findings to close gaps, drive improvements to the change process, and, where applicable, work these into the Key Controls.
  • Assist with cross-team dependency mapping and work with teams to address blockers.
  • Support teams across the business on their transition to Atlassian, moving from existing tools such as spreadsheets whilst improving their working methods.
Technical skillsEssential:
  • Experience of Agile Methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban,
  • Experience as an administrator for Atlassian tools.
  • Experience with Agile Development tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab.
  • Knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and its basic principles and practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management.
  • Experience running Agile Ceremonies, such as retrospectives and stand-ups.
  • Agile Certifications, for example, Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner.
Competence, knowledge, and skillsEssential:
  • Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
