Adult Reablement|Support Worker|Manchester|£17phWe are working closely with a council based in Manchester, who are hiring experienced support workers for their adult services!Job Duties: * To attend to the personal needs and follow personal support plans for service users, including personal support, social care tasks and domestic duties. * To create a supportive and reabling environment where the service users can achieve maximum independence and/or regain previous levels of functioning.* To focus on ensuring positive outcomes for service users which allows them to participate in and contribute to their local communities. * To undertake all essential duties to ensure the service user remains safe and well. * To provide general support to the service user as part of a flexible team, including informal carers, liaising with other services as necessary. * To utilise equipments /aids & adaptations in line with written guidance and individual support plans.* To deliver safe and appropriate support to service users in their own homes.* To work in partnership with users ,carers, colleagues and staff from other agencies* To ensure that necessary information is recorded and shared with others where appropriate.Experience:* 12 months support work experience.* NVQ Level 3 (preferred).* Must have a valid UK driving license and a car.* A valid DBS/Update service.Benefits: * Free parking.* Outstanding hourly rate of up to £17ph.* Further training opportunities available.* Flexible hours.* Mileage included.* Time and a half on Saturdays.* Double time on Sundays.For further information please contact myself Joe on () or send you CV toSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
