Job Description

Adecco Manchester are proud to be working with an awarding body within the education field to recruit for an Administrator to join their business in Manchester on a hybrid basis.This role is initially at 12 month fixed term contract (FTC) to cover maternity leave, but could progress to be permanent for the right candidate.Administrator - 12 months FTCManchester (M20) - HybridSalary of up to £23000This roles involves the management of all aspects of the student life cycle and key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to student leads and enquiries, student admission and registration
  • Managing student life cycle across different systems such as on-boarding and orientation, assessment cycle enrolments and results release
  • Issuing of certificates and arranging courier services
  • Accurately recording and maintaining marks
  • Updating VLE space with key announcements and documents
  • Working with academics to support timely delivery of orientation workshops
  • Reporting on cohort registration, revenue and academic attainment
  • Managing and monitoring invoicing and payments
  • Calendar management
Key qualities- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Highly organised and able to work simultaneously across multiple systems- Delivering excellent service with customer focus- Self-motivated and enthusiastic- Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a knowledgeable, professional and friendly manner- Takes responsibility for learning and developing knowledge (with relevant support)- Embraces changeKey skills and experience- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 package, in particular Word, Outlook and Excel [essential]- Advanced experience of administrative work in an office environment [essential]- Knowledge of UK higher education system [desirable]- Proof reading experience [desirable]Benefits
