Job Description

Summary (overview of role):Our client is looking for an enthusiastic person to join their busy Investigation and Enforcement team, one of the six directorates that make up the organisation. You will work collaboratively with the Assistant Directors and Senior Advisors to provide highquality administrative support for the team and at times, across the wider organisation. The role will also include providing support for the Senior Assistant Director of Investigation and Enforcement.Job Description (the successful person will be responsible for):You will take a proactive and professional approach and manage and prioritise a varied portfolio of administrative work. This will include assisting with the co-ordination of sensitive and confidential casework by accurately recording key information, decisionsand actions, document creation and management, providing support to both internal and external meetings, diary management, general team administration, and providing support to their recruitment processes.Responsibilities (In order to complete the responsibilities of this role, the successful candidate will have):You will have demonstrated good written and oral communication skills and excellent knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office software, exceptional data input abilities including proficiency using MS Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook. These willbe complimented by your strong interpersonal skills and your commitment to flexible and collaborative team working.General Information: LocationOur clients offices have now re-opened and we are moving towards a hybrid model of working with a mix of office / home working.Their core offices are in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. This role will be based in the Manchester office however they offer flexible working arrangements, and staff can work from home for part of their hours.Most roles involve some travel within England between our offices, and some roles also involve onsite visits to social housing providers.In line with Government requirements to reduce the number of Civil Service and NDPB roles based in London, we only advertise roles in London which need to be there for business-critical reasons.InterviewsInterviews will be held w/c 18 April 2022 and will be held via Microsoft Teams in line with our clients current hybrid working model.Benefits and SalaryThey offer a range of excellent benefits.The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award. In addition, when the probation period is successfully completed, a performancerelated bonus may be awarded, based on appraisal ratings at the end of the qualifying appraisal year.Any move to the organisation from another employer will mean you can no longer access childcare vouchers. This includes moves between government departments. You may however be eligible for other government schemes, including Tax-Free Childcare.Nationality requirements
