Administration Assistant (Kickstart Scheme)Are you determined, hungry for success, have a get up and go attitude and a good work ethic To apply for this job, you must be claiming Universal Credit and 16 to 24 years old.Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are delighted to be able to offer an Administration Assistant opportunity under the UK Government Kickstart Scheme for January/February 2022. This role will be based in our beautiful offices in No.1 Spinningfields, Manchestercity centre.The Kickstart Scheme offers 6 months employment and training to young people. Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment will provide full training during this time and after 6 months we may decide to offer a permanent position to the successful candidate.   • First point of contact to clients and candidates over telephone and face to face handling all queries
  • Taking accurate messages and relaying to the relevant consultant/team
  • Database cleansing projects
  • Updating client/candidate records
  • Assisting the Accounts, HR, Marketing teams with any additional admin support where necessary
  • Resourcing duties such as job advert writing and candidate sourcing
  • Train and hotel bookings
  • Ordering stationary and office equipment
  • Printing, scanning, photocopying and dealing with post
  • General upkeep of the office
About You
  • The successful candidate will have administrative, customer service or sales experience and experience handling telephone calls.
  • You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work within a fast paced environment and use own initiative.
  • You will also be a team player, enjoy working in a fun loving, yet professional environment, and fit well with our company cultures and values.
  • Good IT skills including the use of various Email systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A good level of Maths and English at GCSE level is essential.
