Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - ManchesterWe are seeking a talented Acoustician to join an award-winning international multi-disciplinary consultancy in their Manchester offices. My client is committed to the professional development of all their employees & is looking to expand the team by bringingon a motivated & experienced Acoustic Consultant. You will support the team by assisting in the development of the acoustics team & be given the opportunity to further your technical capabilities!The successful applicant will undertake various duties including:

  • Completing acoustic surveys including BB93 & BS4142.
  • Acoustic modelling using softwares including CadnaA.
  • Analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Acoustic design, including input at design meetings.
  • Noise monitoring.
  • Liaising with the client to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Time management.
  • Assist in coordinating of cross-discipline project teams.
  • Continued professional development.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years postgraduate experience which should include noise modelling & undertaking acoustic surveys. You should be up to date with current regulations and show a willingness to develop your technical skills across theacoustics sector.
