Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - ManchesterWe are seeking a talented Acoustician to join an independent consultancy specialising in Environmental noise & Vibration based work. You will join the team and assist in the delivery of high-quality technical work in the Manchester region. Candidates will work on complex projects in a range of sectors including aviation, renewable energy, and local government schemes.Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a UK consultancy specialising in environmental noise.
  • Educated to MSc/BSc level in Acoustics or another relevant discipline.
  • IOA Membership.
  • UK driving licence.
    • You will be working on a variety of projects and should expect to undertake the following duties:
  • Acoustic surveys
  • Fee proposals
  • Technical report writing
  • Assisting junior staff members.
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Modelling using specialist software including CadnaA.
