Job Description

Accounts Payable Manager / Manchester / Permanent / £50,000 - £54,000 / Hybrid / Flexibility / DevelopmentAn FTSE 100 international business with offices worldwide is looking to recruit a skilled Accounts Payable Manager. This permanent position will be based in their new luxury offices in Manchester. As well as leading the function, you will be driving efficiencyand improvements in line with the company values. The business has had record profits three years in a row and has set a plan to double turnover by 2030. This is a great opportunity to become part of an award-winning company that has market leading brands,whilst implementing your own ways of working.The key duties will include:

  • Responsible for the operational activities of the Accounts Payable function
  • Ensure supplier payments are made on a timely and accurate basis, in line with agreed timeframes.
  • Drive optimal performance of the function via data driven KPIs and metrics, and problem resolution via root cause analysis.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable elements of the month-end process such as direct debit payment and balance sheetreconciliations.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues to achieve the goals you set for the AP function.
