Job Description

Accounts Administrator (SAGE experienced)Location: Denton, Tameside, Manchester Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm / 8am - 4pm (can be flexible - 35 hours per week with 1 hour unpaid lunch)Salary: £20,000 - £21,000 (will increase to £22,000 after successful 3 months probation)Job Type: Full-time, Permanent28 holidays (including bank holidays), street parking available Your duties as an Accounts/Admin Assistant will include:

  • Chasing suppliers for costs/invoices
  • Emailing and chasing customers for Purchase order numbers
  • Accounts/finance duties including:
  • Account contras
  • Chasing payment on customer accounts
  • Dealing with supplier accounts and payments
  • Checking supplier statements
  • Producing invoices through our bespoke job management system
  • Filing duties
  • General admin duties
Key Accountabilities
  • Adhering to all processes and procedures
  • Accurate and up to date records Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
  • Business standard IT skills, including Microsoft Office & Sage
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • A good standard of written and spoken English
  • A tenacious, enthusiastic, and flexible disposition. Some prior experience with accounts and sage systems
  • Good self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, and also on their own when required
  • Be a well organised individual with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
