Job Description

Interpath Advisory is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the Accounting Manager and provide support in various accounting functions. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizationalskills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial analysis and variance reports.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
