Account Support Executive. Software and Systems Sales for the Public Sector.£25,000 - £28000 pa + Bonus (realistic OTE 35-40K) + Comprehensive BenefitsManchester (central location) North WestLeading AIM listed Business Process Outsource and Software Systems provider to the Public Sector requires budding account support or management professionals to join their highly successful client relationship and commercial function in Manchester city centre due to further growth.In this role you will support field-based Account Managers to help develop new business from existing accounts and run structured multi-channel campaigns using phone, email and social channels. This is a hybrid part office and part home based role selling products and services such as additional software modules, consultancy time and license renewals to a wide range of local and central government customer contacts.You will use your drive and ambition to capture new opportunities, forward plan for customer awareness campaigns and gather and provide reliable information to support strategy, goals and objectives for a wide range of solutions.This role offers opportunity to be trained, developed and promoted within a defined structure into full Account Management or New Business Sales.You will maintain strong relationships and be responsible for incremental sales, working with delivery teams to ensure customer success and collaborate to identify new opportunities.Required skills and experience:A good understanding and interest in general IT and software systems.Consultative customer services, sales, or account management skills.A mature consultative approach.Strong communication skills with demonstrable ability to present to and influence key stakeholders.Good experience with using a CRM (ideally Salesforce or similar) to record and manage customer data.MS Office including MS Excel use.Business to business (B2B) experience in a similar role at either an IT, Software, Tech, or other Business Services Environment.
