Account Manger - Freight

Im recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well established company in the Manchester area! Daily duties will include:

Maintaining and expanding relationships with all existing clients.
Ensuring all existing clients have their specific needs met.
Using tools available to secure new business throughout entire product range.
Resolving customer issues and liaising with the Customer Service Team where required.
Meeting with clients face-to-face.
Promoting the business by up-selling or cross-selling to existing clients.
Identifying opportunities for business growth and hitting monthly sales targets.
Playing an active role in sourcing and on-boarding new clients.
Monitoring and reviewing business support from assigned customer base.
Operating as the central point of contact for assigned customers.
Following up on new leads or lost business in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

Sales experience essential, preferably within the Airfreight Industry.
Ability to discuss and negotiate complex issues in a clear manner.
Ability to work within a targeted and sometimes pressurised environment.
A high degree of initiative and self-sufficiency with good time-management abilities.
Ability to keep track of tasks.
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
