2nd Line Support Technician / Desktop Support Engineer - Manchester City CentreManchester based, hybrid role - £28,000 to £32,0000 (depending on experience), plus excellent benefits (see the bottom of this advert)A Manchester based specialist MSP who not only look after IT Support, they are experts in Cloud & Remote Desktop services, Networks & Security, and Voice & Contact Centre support.They seek an experienced 2nd Line Support Technician / Desktop Support Engineer who preferably has experience supporting IT from an MSP background, to provide technical services to their growing customer base.As the 2nd Line Support Technician / Desktop Support Engineer:•You will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining network and software systems.•Resolve clients tickets from 1st line escalation.•Youll have the opportunity to be a Senior to the 1st Line Engineers as you pass down your knowledge and help them to be the best they can be!•This position will challenge you to expand your knowledge in familiar technologies and open doors to becoming an expert in various new tech areas.Ideal experience required for the 2nd Line Support Technician / Desktop Support Engineer:•MSP background.•2nd line support experience.•Proficiency in Office 365, including Exchange.•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows Desktops, Windows Server.•Working knowledge and experience of virtualisation technologies, Hyper-V, VMware etc…•Competence in networks - TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Switching, Wireless etc…Essential skills required for the 2nd Line Support Technician / Desktop Support Engineer:
