Our client a leading company working in the property sector are going through a continued period of growth and are looking to recruit a 2nd Line Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support to onsite and remote users.Job Title: 2nd Line EngineerLocation: Central Manchester (Short walk from Oxford road and Manchester Piccadilly)Fully OnsiteSalary: Up to £40,000Our client a leading company working in the property sector are going through a continued period of growth and are looking to recruit a 2nd Line Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support to onsite and remote users.Key Responsibilities:Managing Active DirectoryProviding desktop supportManaging Office 365Troubleshooting network and email issuesTroubleshooting Microsoft applicationsManaging new user and leaver administrationManaging antivirus (ESET & Sophos)Advanced management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)Managing storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)Managing SQL ServerExcellent hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsManaging server management and maintenanceRequirements:Relevant qualifications in IT such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIAExperience in managing some or all of the key responsibilities listed aboveOne or more of the following skills: Expert knowledge of Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure or Server ManagementExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in the IT industryDesirable:Management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)InTune/MDM skillsStorage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)SQL Serverknowledge of Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure or Server ManagementIf you are looking to join a dynamic and growing company with great career progression opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
