Job Description

1st Line Support Analyst required by our award winning client that’s growing at an exponential rate. You will benefit from paid for industry-leading Training and Certifications in RPA solutions and have clear career progression opportunities.1st Line Support Analyst main responsibilities are to support the operations and maintenance of functions of robotic process automation (RPA) platforms. This includes but is not limited to platform administration, platform maintenance, bot promotions, bot scheduling, production support, platform and bot monitoring, code review, etc.In addition, the 1st Line Support Analyst will have internal IT support responsibilities, at times managing Office 365 and user PC’s.The Role:

  • Provide daily operational support for RPA production systems, including troubleshooting of reported issues, batch job monitoring and on-call support.
  • Maintaining the existing process, identifying new process opportunities and accurately analysing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
  • Basic troubleshooting for RPA related issues.
  • Work closely with internal business units to facilitate day to day internal operations including desktop support and access control mechanisms.
  • Supporting and administering the day to day running of processes in the live (production) environment Monitoring, scheduling and running processes.
  • Administering Microsoft Office 365
  • Support portal product ownership working directly with the head of Managed Service
  • Incident Management - handling the day to day issues pertaining to production environment
  • Work directly with developers to validate the requirements & specifications and assist in clarifying technical feasibilities.
  • Managing and investigating exceptions of Incident and Change Management
  • Prioritize the defects for resolution, including planning the testing of fixes.
  • Fix RPA errors, confirm the fix in UAT and deploy tested fixes to Production environment.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Logical mindset for basic programming
  • .NET Framework experience
  • Control room and orchestra knowledge
  • CSS, windows, Linux knowledge
  • Desktop support experience
  • General understanding of various IT security concepts as they relate to production environments
  • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution
  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
  • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
  • MSP Background
  • Automation product knowledge (Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.
