Job Description

We have multiple roles available for experienced and non-experienced Network engineers to join a growing ISP business in Manchester. Are you looking for the next perfect position as a Network Engineer Role: Network Engineer Rate: £25,000/45,000 Length: Permanent PositionStart: ASAPWork pattern: Office BasedLocation: Manchester City CentreIn this role you will be responsible for:

  • Direct Internet connectivity through to MPLS VPN
  • Managing bespoke WAN solutions
  • Manage in-life service requests and incidents,
  • Detail and implement customer requests
  • Working both independently and as part of a team
  • Available for out-of-hours support as part of the on-call rota
Technical Skills:
  • CCNA or similar, with strong MPLS / BGP / OSPF skills.
  • High levels of IP literacy
  • Cisco service provider qualifications (CCNA-SP, CCNP-SP).
  • Attention to details
  • Commercial awareness
  • ISP routing protocols and platforms, such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS
