Job Description

dnata Catering UK, the worlds largest inflight caterer has a really exciting opportunity for Customer Support Specialists to join their team in Manchester, based at our UK catering unit at Manchester Airport - managing relationships with our airline customersand key internal stakeholders.The role will require someone to work flexibly with shift work and some weekend / on call requirements.Who are we looking forAs an Customer Support Specialist you will need to be able to communicate both with our external customers and internally at all levels and across all sites. You will be able to develop trusted and influential relationships with all stakeholders to ensureagreed service standards are achieved. In addition you will need to be commercially aware to ensure contractual commitments are delivered in a cost effective manner highlighting cost/ charge implication of any additional activity requested by the customer/stakeholder. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, unflappable, and capable of managing their workload and prioritising tasks.What will you be doing

  • Key contact for the customer
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Manage complaints and queries
  • Attend customer meetings
  • Oversee stock control, equipment management, onboard computer activity, menu development, food safety compliance
  • Work with key stakeholders - Ops Managers, Supply Chain, Compliance
  • Obtain customer feedback
  • Hands on role in start ups and seasonable changes
  • Out of hours availability to be on call when required
