Job Description

Personal Assistant to MDSME£NEG (PT or FT)Malmesbury, WiltsThe company manufactures a world class & renowned product which they sell successfully both in the UK & the US. Their growing facility is based close to the Westonbirt Arboretum, near Malmesbury. We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director and SMT. They will also support the management with the HR function and HR administrative duties.Candidates need to be highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task. They must be able to develop a strong awareness of context, exercise good judgement and use initiative to resolve issues calmly and effectively under time pressure. They must interact professionally and effectively with a wide range of people at all levels, demonstrating discretion and an appreciation of different perspectives and agendas.We are looking for someone who would thrive at the following responsibilities:

  • Extensive diary management, maintaining and making appointments
  • To provide support for meetings including scheduling, preparing agendas, arranging refreshments, taking minutes, noting action points and following up
  • Prepare and edit documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • To have full responsibility and leading & coordinating all HR administration activities that arise Prepare reports and presentations for regional manager meetings and coordinating events and meetings.
  • Typing correspondence and minute-taking for business meetings & colleague HR matters ensuring the appropriate documentation is prepared in a timely manner and issued accordingly.Receive correspondence and action accordingly, for the Directors and manage inbox as and when required.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal teams to handle enquiries or refer to relevant departments.
  • It would be great if you had previous experience as a Personal Assistant handling confidential information and sensitive matters in a professional manner at all times. Be confident using computer software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google.
