Stores Co-OrdinatorC£25,000 +Maidstone areaSa/scMy Client, is a World Leader in their Industry, and has been for over 100 years. They have a very stable workforce and business wise in a very healthy situation. To increase this standing in industry, they are now looking for aStoresCo-Ordinator to manage and support the stores function. You will support users & management to ensure responsive and appropriate actions are carried out, and develop and improve the stores environment.The Role: Stores Co-OrdinatorOrganise, maintain and audit the designated store areasTo carry out /or assist the Engineering Manager with good practice for purchasing of new and replacement goods/equipment/materials.Ensure the correct use of appropriate contract terms and conditionsCarry out routine annual and periodic stock checks and reports.Develop and improve the stores functionAssist the Technical Buyer as required.Taking delivery of goods and suppliesStoring goods in line with instructions and moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck.Loading goods for dispatch.To assist the maintenance team members in the progression of Work OrdersMaintain and store all materials and chemicals within the correct areas.Obtain and maintain all the relevant documentation including, MSDS data.To maintain the input of data and update, correct and create records for all goods/equipment/materials and record on SAP systemSkills / Experience / Qualifications: Stores Co-OrdinatorComputer literate (Microsoft Office).CMMS experience (SAP) - advantageous.Engineering knowledge of parts/equipment/procedures/systems.Solid experience in store(s) supervisory management in process plant, or similar situations.In-depth knowledge of purchase and issuing principles.Good communication skills at all levels, both verbally and written.Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills,Self-motivated and a good team player.Ability to lift heavy loads.Connect2Staff/Connect2Kent, part of Commercial Services Trading/Kent Ltd, is an equal opportunities Employment Agency & Business and positively encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
