We are looking for a Band 5 Podiatrist to join one of the largest and forward thinking podiatry departments in the country.This vacancy covers the West Kent area of Kent - Tonbridge , Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Hawkhurst and Edenbridge .This role is for a highly motivated and professional HCPC registered podiatrist with the relevant post graduate clinical experience to provide high quality podiatric care for patients with pathological foot conditions and those individuals at risk of developing serious foot health complications. We would welcome applications from Band 5s who are willing to undertake our own induction package . The post holder is required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry treatments including biomechanical interventions and wound care for patients in Kent. A comprehensive corporate induction programme is given at the commencement of employment. As well as this the Podiatry Department offers its own induction package covering all aspects of clinical care, (although used by all grades of staff it is particularly useful for newly qualified staff as a way of achieving set competency levels . The whole podiatry department comes together regularly for training days and staff meetings. There is also a yearly review of the department where all staff can have an input into the departmental business plan. Each local team has regular monthly team meetings where information is cascaded and discussed. The service is delivered in community clinics, health centres, GP surgeries, acute hospital sites and patients own home . All staff members are given the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety and scope of practice.
