Job Description

Site Manger – Maidstone – up to £30,000Are you a highly motivated and skilled individual driven by a commitment to excellent work and maintaining a safe environmentAre you proactive with a hands-on approachThis is a fantastic opening withing a thriving Primary school for an experienced Site Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the school grounds and in sharing their vision for a school which the children, staff and communityare proud of. You will be overseeing the maintenance and security of the building and grounds, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinating contractors and maintenance schedules and supporting the school for events.About you:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, or a similar role.
    • Proactive, hands on approach and great problem solving skills
    • Strong organisation and priortisation ability
    • Equally adaptable and flexible to deal with emergencies and unexpected issues.
    • Experience in team and contractor management
    • Competency in health and safety, including knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and their practical application in an operational setting.
    • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing necessary control measures.
    • Understanding of COSHH regulations and the safe handling of hazardous substances.
    • Familiarity with fire safety protocols and emergency evacuation procedures.
    • Practical experience in basic trade skills.
