Job Description

Tremendously exciting leadership opportunity to join this thriving and growing independent Practice to be based primarily from their Maidstone Head Office.The firm represents a full spectrum of clients ranging from the very small to some substantial OMB’s and complex group companies.They hold a number of significant stakeholder audits alongside some charity and Academies audits.This is a mixed Client Manager opportunity with an audit bias running a mixed portfolio of fees and forming part of the senior leadership team.Key duties to include:

  • Manage a significant mixed portfolio of fees
  • Manage a team of up to 10 staff at any one given time
  • Review more complex statutory accounts
  • Plan and perform operational and financial audits
  • Identify business process risks
  • Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to senior management
  • Formulate professional development and educational plans for junior staff members
  • Plan and allocate resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules
What about you
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 3 years pqe
  • Experience of managing a portfolio
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP & IFRSStrong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
