Job Description

Submission Technology is a well-established, successful Digital Marketing/Lead Generation company based in Maidstone. We have grown from a small, family run business to a thriving company employing over 60 staff. We are an Investors in People accredited organisation, currently Silver and going for Gold!We are looking for a Project Manager/Compliance officer to act as delivery manager for all projects within the scope of PMO a as well as act as the company DPO.Reporting to our Chief Technology Officer, key duties involve:

  • Being the main liaison between users, suppliers(internal) and stakeholders on behalf of all projects under management
  • Responsible for maintaining controlled documents, project documentation and reports for all projects under management
  • Act as PMO owner to ensure that processes are updated in line with business need and the demands of MIS reporting
  • Responsible for owning and driving risk and control programmes within the business to ensure the data compliance policies and procedures are observed (with a special focus on GDPR)
  • Advise and inform functional managers on the company obligation in relation to GDPR
  • Actively monitor and audit company compliance with the GDPR.
  • Formulate and conduct training and awareness initiatives to help business understand data handling and policies
  • Perform data protection impact assessments (DPIA) and act as point of contact with data protection authorities and functional managers in the business.
    • Exceptional communication and strong organisational skills are essential for this role as is previous experience in project management/compliance role. Candidates should also have a good understanding of data processing legalities and compliance processes. Experience within Digital Marketing would be advantageous.Interviews will be conducted remotely and the role will initially be working from home due to current Covid restrictions.The company provides parking, fruit & soft drinks, 20 days holiday (rising to 25 days with service), Contributory Pension Scheme, peer to peer bonus scheme, Employee Health scheme.
