Job Description

12/10/2020Transition Partners are currently recruiting for a key client based close to Maidstone,who are on the lookout for a number of Night shift Technical Support Engineers that will work remotely and may occasionally have to travel to data-centres based UK Wide.Are you are an experienced Technical Support Engineer at 2nd line level looking for their next challenge If so, this is a role that will involve working on a shift basis covering both evening/night and weekends. The successful Technical Support Engineer with have experience of providing second line helpdesk support over the phone and remotely to a high number of users, you will have knowledge of Windows Servers and VMWare and be able to troubleshoot confidently without much support. The ideal candidate will have experience of SQL, Azure and Nutanix and have worked within ITIL environments. Must have excellent communication skills.….. How does up to £35,000+ Shift Allowance and PensionResponsibilities will include;

  • Provision of Service Desk Support to Internal and External Customers and Systems for all hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems managed by the Team.
  • Management and Monitoring of all hardware, interfaces, and systems.
  • Implementation of Patching and Firmware Upgrades
  • May be required to work at other Company Sites, Customer Sites and Datacentres on an occasional basis.
