Job Description

We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Maidstone.Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their team.The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for:Assist in the distribution and administration of products from UK sitesto all customersAssist with management and administration of inbound and outbound loads ofproducts, European partners and suppliersManaging delivery discrepancies and investigating/obtaining/chasing the relevantpaperwork and raising any associated claimsData entry, analysis and interpretation for KPI reportingDaily and weekly administration of key logistic processes and functionsManaging haulier invoice checks, query resolution and recharge mechanismsAssist and communicate outbound collection times to distribution pointsArranging haulier collections and communication of ETA to customersVehicle tracking (UK and European), set up, data management, reporting ofinbound loads and analysis to meet on time / arrival time KPIsAssist with volume and cost analysis of in and outbound loadsDeal with daily queries promptly, maintain, and develop key relationships withregular suppliers, customers and hauliers dialogue.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:Previous experience in a logistics/transport administration role, ideally within an FMCG businessGood communication skills in order to liaise with suppliers, customersand hauliers in a professional and honest wayAbility to prioritise workload to suit business needsAbility to work as part of a team and across other departments at all levelsHave good understanding of supply chain to retail customersAnalytical, computer literate, good level of maths and professional telephonemannerFlexible approach to working hoursThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that can offer ongoing career development and progression.
