We are looking to recruit an IT Support Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn. As a Microsoft Infrastructure Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include: Being the point of contact for all incoming support ticketsLogging and managing all reactive service calls onto the service management systemPassing assessed tickets through to appropriate 2nd level supportEstablishing and maintaining high levels of process documentation relevant to the roleMeeting personal and team productivity and quality targets in line with Service Centre targetsTaking receipt of system generated email and phone call tickets into the Service Centre.Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT industry. About the CompanyOur client is a business that delivers high quality IT support and computer repair services in the Maidstone and Kent areas. They have a fresh approach, a proven track record and a fast & efficient service. Their business services include support contracts, the supply of desktops, laptops & peripherals, installation & setup, networking, software support (Microsoft, Sage, etc.), remote & onsite support and data backup/recovery. Home services include new installations & setups, WiFi and networking, internet & email, data transfer & backup and data recovery. Their repairs & upgrades offering include desktops & laptops, computer repairs (PSU, HDD, RAM, etc.), laptop repairs (screen, keyboard, etc.), virus & spyware removal, data recovery and software configuration.Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, there is the potential for a full-time position available.Skills Required:You will be highly organised with excellent timekeeping skillsYou will have excellent communication skillsYou will be willing to work hard and eager to learnYou will have superb IT skills, a base knowledge of hardware & software and a general interest in IT/technology.Personal Qualities:The company require a bright, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a genuine desire to learn and to build a career in technology.
