Job Description

Internal Estimator, Construction Sector£25,000 - £40,000KentDue to unprecedented growth, our client is looking for an experienced estimator or graduate design engineer with an engineering background to complement its busy & experienced estimating division.The ideal candidate would preferably have experience within construction, primarily M & E sector.The role

  • Liaising with building developers, consultants, groundworkers and Main Contractors providing detailed design quotations based on site drawings
  • Provide solution leading submissions for new development sites across the UK
  • Provide quotations & pricing for GRP, PCC & adoptable pump stations
  • Liaising with supply chain manufacturers for pricing components to provide competitive quotations
  • Liaising with clients and internal / external sales teams
  • Support the external sales and commercial teams with site visits as & when required
The candidate
  • Estimating experience operating within the water industry (preferred) - existing relationships within construction and national property developers a key advantage
  • Good communicator with an eye for detail
  • Experience working with water authorities and understanding their asset profile requirements
  • Kent based
  • Excellent internal / external communication skills
  • Self-driven with a can do attitude
  • Work well under pressure
  • Commercial understanding
  • Be a team player whilst being able to self-motivated to deliver numerous projects
  • IT literate
  • Technical aptitude
