Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a national Training Provider who are looking to recruit a Hair Apprenticeship Assessor in the Kent area. This role is on a 4 day permanent contract, paying up to £25,000 pro rata plus bonuses and a company car. The role willinvolve delivering the Level 3 Hair Apprenticeship to learners mainly in Kent however some travel will be required to London, Essex and Sussex.The Hair Apprenticeship Assessor will be responsible for:

  • delivering the Level 2/3 Hair Apprenticeship Standards
  • conducting workplace assessments within salons
  • embedding Functional Skills as part of the full Apprenticeship
  • supporting a caseload learners with portfolio preparation through to end point assessment
  • reviewing quality standards with the IQA
  • holding reviews/feedback sessions with the employers
The Hair Apprenticeship Assessor will need to have:
  • a Level 3 qualification in Hair or equivalent
  • an A1 Assessor qualification or equivalent
  • experience of delivering Hair Apprenticeship Standards up to Level 3
  • ability to effectively manage a caseload of learners through to timely completions
  • occupational competency within hairdressing
  • a full UK driving licence
  • flexibility to travel as per the company requirements
