Asbestos Surveyor (P402)£28,000 - £31,000 + Company Car/Van + BenefitsMaidstone, KentAre you an experienced Asbestos Surveyor seeking regional workI have a fantastic opportunity available for an enthusiastic and proactive Asbestos Surveyor to join for a leading multi-disciplinary Environmental Consultancy, who deliver a wide range of services in the Asbestos Management, Health & Safety and Fire Safetysectors to a large protfolio of clients in the public and private sector. If you are an experienced BOHS P402/RSPH3 qualified Asbestos Surveyor with a strong eye for detail, we would like to hear from you!Asbestos Surveyor Duties:

  • Undertake demolition, refurbishment and management surveys across a range of residential, commercial & industrial buildings
  • Complete bulk sampling and liaise with accredited laboratories
  • Produce accurate and concise reports
  • Build relationships and interact with clients, contractors and members of the public daily
Skills & Knowledge:
  • An excellent understanding of management, refurbishment & demolition surveys
  • A broad understanding of UK asbestos legislation and be able to apply it to working practice at all times
  • Good IT and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to use hand held data collectors and collate data for the use in reports
To be considered for the role, you must possess:
  • A full UK driving licence
  • BOHS P402 qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in asbestos surveying
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience/knowledge of TEAMS (or similar asbestos software)
Highly desirable:
  • Additional Asbestos qualifications (P403, P404, P405)
  • Experience in project management
