Job Description

Our client employs around 20 staff at their Maidenhead office, supporting their global food sourcing and distribution business (with offices world-wide.) Due to the forthcoming retirement of their existing incumbent, they are seeking an Office Manager tosupport the team and manage the office.Reporting to the UK MD, our Office Manager will take responsibility for a wide range of administrative and UK company secretarial duties, and will have previous experience of company administration, perhaps as a Company Secretary or a Director with filingexperience, in addition to having recent experience of payroll administration.In addition to payroll, our Office Manager will ensure the smooth running of the office and the role will include maintaining insurance policies, H&S, GDPR, employee benefits, expenses and the management of HR policies.To be of interest for this role you will be:

  • Prepared to work 3 full days per week in Maidenhead
  • Experienced in payroll administration
  • Experienced in managing legal filing requirements for a UK Company (as a Director or a Company Secretary)
  • Highly organised, methodical, numeric and with an excellent eye for detail
  • Systems savvy, and competent in MS office (ideally you may also have experience of operating a credit control system e.g. Atradius)
You will be calm, confident and willing to take on a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the UK office.
