We at The Huntercombe Group are looking for a Maintenance Person who will positively promote excellent health and safety standards within and around the hospital, supporting the Head of Support Services to maintain a safe environment for patients in our care.Key Accountabilities:Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the Central and surrounding grounds providing an excellent first Impression to all who visitMaintaining the smooth operation and serviceability of all utilities such as heating, lighting, plumbing and non-medical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these services to the HospitalWorking positively with the Hosptial Manager and Estates Manager to achieve the desired outcomes for longer-term tasks such as refurbishments and the non- day-to-day service elements of the Hospital i.e. redecorationTaking an active role in the monitoring of any risk areas regarding the Hospital operations and securityMaintaining the Hosptial as a pleasant, friendly and secure place to liveTo coordinate all reactive and planned maintenance/ repairs throughout the HospitalFull UK driving licence requiredThis is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with an on call rota to cover 24 hour support, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
