A fantastic Secondary school in Maidenhead, Berkshire is currently recruiting for a graduate teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience within education.A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this Teaching Assistant role or a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance,in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. The Secondary school is near to Maidenhead station. In your second year as a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to complete your teacher training and gain your QTS.This Secondary school are looking for committed and bright graduates who are passionate about their input into a childs education to join as a Teaching Assistant. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy withinKey Stage 3, 4, and 5 as a graduate Teaching Assistant.This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful TAs can consequently be enrolled onto the Schools Direct Teacher Training Route. A graduate with a strong educational background is required for this role including GCSEs in Maths and English (C or above).KS3 Teaching Assistant and Teacher Training
