What Will You Do
  • Production of comprehensive management accounts, including P&Ls, Balance sheet and cashflows, leading the migration of finance processes and systems to future proof the business and provide accurate and timely information:
  • Deliver robust, accurate and timely financial information to the business and support informed decision making, whilst meeting statutory and legal governance requirements
  • Provide leadership over Group Finance function activities, co-ordinate and provide financial stewardship to strategic initiatives
  • Reporting, including Weekly / Daily KPIs as necessary to deliver the business plan and budgetsproviding greater transparency and proactively influencing and shaping decision making
  • Purchase order processes being fit for purpose with appropriate delegated levels of authority, and proactive management of cashflow, banking and payments
  • Create a robust environment of balance sheet control with proactive management
  • Responsible for managing and leading all regulatory requirements, including Tax on time, in full without error, and managing third party advisors linked to this
  • Stewardship of Company Assets
  • Ownership of Cashflow management
  • Proactively lead and manage finance team, raising the calibre to a top quartile finance function which is fully engaged
  • Improve business support and create an environment of proactive financial partnership
What Will You Bring
  • Qualified Accountant, with 5 years PQE
  • Strong blend of hands on technical and commercial expertise to formulate appropriate controls and translate into credible outputs, with in depth knowledge of Working capital management
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills, a team leader and people developer
  • Customer orientated approach to business wide support
  • Strong communicator, able to build rapport and strong relationships quickly as well as present complex situations in a simple manner
  • Must be credible and impressive in front of stakeholders
  • Problem solver as part of a cross functional solution, analytical with good attention to detail and
  • Implementation experience of new accounting systems and driving out reporting, and the development of KPIs from scratch.
  • Excellent communicator, ideally from multi-site leisure and hospitality sector
  • A proactive self-starter, able to work to tight timelines
