Job Description

You won’t meet a more positive, friendly team at this software business with a very different culture to many tech companies.We are looking for a financial controller (ideally qualified) to join our team of 20 based in lovely offices in the centre of Maidenhead. There is a US office also.You will be responsible for all financial control recording transactions using SAGE. We want you to

  • Maintain the purchase and sales ledger and monitor cash
  • Check and process travel expenses (on company credit cards)
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Prepare payroll (using SAGE)
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and cash projections as required
  • You’ll also maintain the HR records for holiday and sickness
  • Past experience of US reporting an advantage
    • The owner has interests in several businesses including a film production business and there will be opportunities to get involved in one or more of these also.The role reports to the MD (A Chartered Accountant).It would be a great role for someone returning to work, who lives locally and doesn’t want to commute. A role within a business of this quality is rare and whist starting part time there will be the opportunity to do more days as the business grows. Required skills
