Job Description

Sales Executive Construction BackgroundSalary £35-45,000 basic negotiable plus healthy OTE, Car etc.LiverpoolThis is a great opportunity for a Sales and Business Development Manager with a construction background to join a leading manufacturer of bespoke timber products. If you have excellent business to business sales skills this is a fantastic career opportunitywith huge scope for progression. Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who can demonstrate a high level of Sales ability alongside organisational, customer service and communication skills. The role will principally involve selling bespoke manufacturedTimber product to the construction market reporting direct to the Sales Director. Working for a well-established company supplying to commercial, residential, and public markets they are a reputable, friendly, and professional company and are renowned forquality with many prestigious clients. The main route to market being Architects and Main Contractors.

  • Selling high end quality products
  • You will be an experienced Business Development /Sales Manager and have a demonstrable history of sales achievement.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Responsible for making and attending appointments focusing on Main Contractors, architects and joinery sub-contractors, visiting clients and new prospects.
  • You will be building relationships with main contractors, sub-contractors and architects either on site, at head office or at their own offices.
  • Establishing framework agreements with the main contractors and sub-contractors.
  • You will be discussing technical aspects of a project together with cost implications.
  • The applicant will be responsible for generating new business and dealing with an existing client base. Dealing with both the commercial and residential market.
  • Previous experience in sales and business development sales, account manager, new business sales, field sales, b2b sales, with recent experience with the construction industry.

  • An ability to work on own initiative
