Job Description

A Supply Chain Co-Ordinator is required for a temporary to permanent opportunity based in Macclesfield. This role will start immediately and will pay an hourly equivalent of c£24k.Client DetailsAn established technical manufacturing business based in Macclesfield.DescriptionAs the Supply Chain Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Handling customer related sales orders, order confirmations, invoices, deliveries and returns
  • Material requirements including purchase orders, purchase requisitions and contracts
  • Processing orders, dispatch of planned orders, dispatch of process orders and MRP runs
  • Handling freight units, container units, freight orders, freight bookings and freight settlements documents
  • Master Data Management including storage locations, lead-times, production versions, master recipes, resources and BoMs
  • Building robust relationships with key customers and service providers
ProfileThe successful Supply Chain Co-Ordinator will have:
  • Previously worked in a similar supply chain position - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Good IT skills including Excel - ESSENTIAL
  • Previously worked on SAP - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • A relevant qualification - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Worked in manufacturing - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Job OfferThis is initially a temporary position for a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator, to start as soon as possible. This position has the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate and will pay c£24k.
