Job Description

Role - Service Advisor / Service ReceptionistSalary - Starting from £20,000 - £23,500 basic + bonus (depending on experience)Location - Macclesfield, Cheshire--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Richard Abson Group are helping a prestige branded car dealership in Macclesfield find an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join their Aftersales department as a Service Advisor / Service Receptionist - ideally, you will have experience as a Service Advisor / Service Receptionist. However, the dealershipwill consider applicants with Customer Service and Sales experience in other industries. *** This is a temporary role with a high chance of becoming permanent ***Youll be working on the front desk of the Service Department, providing assistance and exceptional customer service to all customers. You will ideally have experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade. However, the employer is open to offering the positionto a charismatic, positive and hardworking candidate with experience in Sales and Customer Service.Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work
  • Provide customers with in-depth information about available aftermarket and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part options
  • Answer questions about service outcome (after consulting with mechanic if necessary)
  • Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
  • Help customers decide between part exchanging a car and fixing it through our workshop
  • Manage and oversee the service centres workflow and scheduling
  • Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
  • The dealership is an advanced and contemporary building, offering customers an exceptional experience
  • Greet customers when they arrive at the parts and service centre and direct them to an available mechanic

Salary and working hours: Starting from £20,000 - £23,500 basic + bonus - this is dependent on experience (we will consider applicants with no experience in the role).The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-6.00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9.00am-1.00pm.If this role is of interest to you then please APPLY NOW!
