Senior Industrial Energy Manager – Competitive – Office based in UK and regular international travel requiredThe RoleWould you welcome the opportunity to make a difference and positively shape the future of the global environment An innovative energy consultancy that is playing a pivotal role in mitigating climate change is seeking a Senior Industrial Energy Manager.Ideally possessing a passion for excellence and a background in utilities engineering and/or energy management, the successful candidate will join an inspirational workplace where employees are valued and recognised. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver significant projects for major clients and will develop to be a leading expert in this field.Supporting clients with energy management expertise, creating valuable solutions and delivering first class customer service, the successful candidate will play an integral role in a company that prides itself on consistently delivering excellence through its trademark innovative solutions for the sustainability issues facing our future.The post holder is also expected to take personal ownership for their professional development, with support from their line manager.The key responsibilities of a Senior Industrial Energy Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical expertise and support to clients in helping them identify significant and cost effective energy and carbon reduction opportunities in utility systems including: chilled water and refrigeration, steam generation and distribution, LPHW heating, Compressed Air Systems, BMS control systems, lighting, water and waste water treatment.
  • Confidently facilitating energy workshops on behalf of the Company following defined process, and preparing technical proposals for new projects including costings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other engineers to ensure maximum efficiency and customer service from start to finish (face to face and remote).

  • Bachelors / Masters Engineering or Technical Degree; Evidence of recent / relevant CPD.
  • Significant industry experience demonstrating a broad understanding of industrial utility systems and energy management; Experience of developing and presenting energy reduction recommendations and developing the supporting business cases.
  • innovative and able to present technical information in a logical, understandable and compelling way.
  • Ability to take high level of responsibility within a team, lead and manage people and projects to deliver outcomes on time and to budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work independently including overseas.
