Are you ready for the next step in your Security Career Maybe you would like to join the Corporate Security world, working for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companyNow is your chance - we need you!Youll have access to health and well-being benefits, online/store discounts, employee clubs, a fantastic Learning & Development team where you can gain professional qualifications and much more!How will you fit inAs the Site Security Manager reporting to the Branch Manager, you will look after a security team of Team Leaders, Security Guards from a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company.You will be responsible for managing all security personnel and the day-to-day operational issues impacting the contract, providing a central point of contact for service delivery development, performance, measurement and centralised reporting which fullydemonstrates the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.Youll be provided with a laptop and phone.With us you will:Ensure adequate and appropriate training, advice and support are provided to make the team successful. Actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards. Be the first point of contact for site security function-related queries and responsiblefor managing the resolution of more complex security issues on site and escalating when required to the Security Management Team or our customers Security Department.Work alongside our Recruitment Team to recruit, select, manage and development of direct reporting personnel, this will include ensuring all Security personnel have undertaken the appropriate vetting, security clearance and training to meet industry requirements.Rigorously review and promote health and safety on site. Roster all officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness and absences.Contact all security personnel and review/coach as required at least once a month in order to proactively monitor performance and maintain positive employee relations. Maintain communication via informal, newsletters, formal signed briefings and toolkittalks.Using the companys disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensure all employee relations issues are dealt with promptly and consistently.All Assignment Instructions, databases and site documentation are up-to-date. Any incidents are reported in compliance with the Customers policy and procedure. Plan, develop and implement a strategy for personnel training, including routine duties and emergencyprocedures.You will be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.Assist the Branch Manager in minimising the direct and indirect costs of the Branch.
