Based in Alderley Park, they are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their Discovery Team as a Head of Scientific Alliances. This is an out of lab role and has hybridworking options, approx. 2 days a week in the office. If you are a Leading Scientist and have prior experience in forming and developing long-term, interorganisational partnerships, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.The RoleThis is a role for highly experienced Drug discovery / translational medicine experts who hold a PhD (or Masters) in a biologically focused discipline and significant experience in leading, directing and forming collaborations within life sciences.My client create alliances; disease based groups of organisations, set up with the purpose of driving disease research and treatments of various areas including neurological/CNS and fibrosis. This is done through a patient-focused approach to bring togetheracademic institutions, industrial partners, patient-groups and charities. The purpose of the role will be to establish new, and nurture existing alliances.As my clients new Head of Scientific Alliances, you will be responsible for:
