Job Description

Our client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. They have an exciting opportunity for a GMP Materials Management Technologist to join their team in Macclesfield. This companyoffers a wonderful opportunity for development and career progression.   • Receive, locate and store materials in line with documented procedures into the relevant Inventory Management systems
  • Responsible for coordination and execution of shipping activities
  • Follows SHE and GMP standards and be personably accountable for own actions
  • Authoring and updating key documentation
  • Responsible for delivering individual projects/targets in a timely manner
  • Ensure all relevant activities (e.g. request set-up, label generation, packing, labelling, warehousing and distribution) are executed on time and in line with written procedures and GMP requirements
  • Ensuring compliance of activities performed are in adherence with defined schedules, GMP and quality agreements
  • Contribute to deviation investigations
  • Collaborate with key suppliers and partners on a daily basis
  • Support both Clinical and Commercial manufacture using appropriate processes
  • React to daily issues and prioritise accordingly
  • Sampling & Dispensing of an array of materials
About You:
  • Multiple years experience working in a SDU environment ideally with previous SDU management responsibility
  • Experience working with SHE policies and procedures
  • A scientific degree or proof of multiple years of work-experience in a laboratory environment preferable in a specialised scientific discipline or regulated environment
  • Certificates in IATA,ADR,IMDG and Known Consignor Regulations.
  • Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMP/GLP systems
