We believe in innovation and continuous improvement, working closely with colleagues in academia and across industry, to ensure that we apply the newest technologies and principles in the processes we develop.We currently have an opening for an Associate Principal Scientist to lead Continuous Processing based in our Process Analytical and Continuous Technologies team.In this role you will be a scientific leader in our growing continuous community within Chemical Development. Together with your fellow team members and other colleagues across the department you will plan, drive and enable the utilisation of continuous processing to develop fast, efficient, flexible, cost effective and sustainable processes working with internal and external partners to deliver clinical and commercial API supply. On development projects you will work closely with chemical engineers, chemists, analysts, statisticians and modellers to design, develop, optimise and scale-up continuous processes. Within the team there will be an expectation to coach and mentor colleagues and support the implementation of continuous processing to ensure Chemical Development has access to the best manufacturing processing options.
