Job Description

Location: Home based, Flexible UKAs a Senior Application Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the Application Support team, providing 2nd / 3rd line application support to our global user community for a variety of applications, but predominantly our ERPs which include MicrosoftD365 (Finance & Sales), and Dynamics AX 4.0, AX 2009 and AX 2012.You shall also assist in the delivery of projects; ranging from providing advice as a subject matter expert to implementing new business applications, updating and upgrading or migrating from legacy applications or infrastructure. You shall also be responsiblefor the transition and onboarding of applications from projects into support.These are exciting times for the team as projects have been announced/recently commenced for multiple business units to migrate to or implement D365 Finance and Infor M3.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise (both technical and some functional) of Microsoft D365 and Dynamics AX
  • Assisting in the delivery of major IT projects and their transition into IT Operations for support
  • Investigation and resolution of business system application related incidents, service requests and problems
  • Application updates and code deployments
  • Application security role development and maintenance
Skills and Experience:
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following applications: Microsoft D365, Dynamics AX (4.0/AX 2009/AX 2012), Infor M3
  • Experience of working in a technology support role at user level
  • Strong analytical skills required with the ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, identify creative solutions and develop new strategies and procedures
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio)
