Our plans are brave and ambitious and to help us succeed, we are building aprogrammes team to champion these key topics.Programme lead responsibilities:The programme lead for multiple health conditions will focus on: Diabetic Kidney Disease Cardiovascular causes and complications of kidney diseaseAs part of this investment, we are seeking a programme lead who will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and communicating their programme areas. You will work with key senior stakeholders to define the requirements of each programme, understandingthe funding landscape and driving productive partnerships to deliver impact.This role is highly interactive. Within the charity, as the expert in these complex areas, the programme lead will support our fundraising, communication, supporter care and business development teams to progress revenue-generating and partnership opportunities.Externally, they will engage with the wider research community including key stakeholders in our research networks, bioindustry contacts and government funders.Programme lead requirements:Reporting to the Director of programmes, the successful applicant will have a background in biological or health sciences as well as the desire and ability to drive these challenging subject areas, superb organisation and relationship-building skills, and thetenacity and skills to develop and progress productive collaborations.If you are interested in this position, please complete the online application form and submit your CV, together with a supporting statement, outlining why you are interested and how you feel you meet the requirements.We are committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone and encourage applications from all sections of the community.About Us:Kidney Research UK are the leading charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. And one million of those dont know they are at risk. Thats 3.5 million people who are someones parents, grandparents, children, friends.And kidney failure is rising, as are the factors contributing to it, such as diabetes and obesity.Thats why our work is more essential than ever.Research is what we do. It is the only way to discover future preventions, treatments and cures. It is vital to keep our loved ones safe.
