Job Description

Teaching Assistant work within Forest of Dean. Flexibility on when & where you work.Your new companyYou will be working for Class People as Teaching Assistant bank staff where you will be placed in various Primary Schools to support with day cover which includes sickness cover, annual leave etc. You will be working with children aged between 4 and 11 years. You will be able to work in your desired location within Gloucestershire and work around your own commitments. We are currently inundated with work at the moment so you will be able to work as little or as much as you desire.Your new roleAs a Teaching Assistant bank staff you will be expected to support the school settings where you are working; supporting the other staff in the classroom and expected to follow direction from the teacher at all times. This a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills.What youll need to succeedWe are looking for ideally level 2 or level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants, however we are open to unqualified teaching assistants having recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; the schools that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help in the setting.What youll get in returnThis role will give you full flexibility allowing you to pick and choose where and when youd like to work.
