Our well-established manufacturing client based in Lydney, have an exciting opportunity for an Manufacturing Operations Manager to join their evolving business on a permanent basis.The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the day to day operations on site and leading the manufacturing team in achieving KPIs whilst maintaining continuous improvement by driving change anddeveloping coordination between departments.Key Responsibilities;- Manage Production team to ensure that all products are manufactured within the required timeframes and correct quality-Manage the capacity of the factory, maximising yield and productivity-Provide direction, motivation, and support through effective management of direct reports-Communicating expectations to your production team and appraisal of their performance-Continually look to reduce waste and reduce costs to the business-Responsible for site Health and SafetyCandidate Attributes;-Experience of managing a manufacturing operation-Experience in managing and driving continuous improvements-Strong experience in using ERP and other business standard software (MS Office)-IOSH Qualification would be desirable but not essentialHours; Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5pm, with an early finish on a Friday 9:00am to 4pmSalary; £40-£50k per annum depending on experience + 24 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) + Pension Scheme + Free access to Wellbeing clinics
