Transport Planner - £26,000Location: LutterworthDuration: TEMP TO PERMSalary: (£26,000 SALARY EQUIVALENT)Hours: Full time An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to work with one of the leading employers in the UK. You will join the Regional Transport Operation and work towards maximising efficiency, service and compliance by managing the day-to-day plans for the region.There are two shift patterns available, starting at 3am and 6am. Successful applicants will be required to work any five from seven days. Duties/Responsibilities Transport Planner* Depot to store transport load building, routing and scheduling * Providing daily, weekly, monthly and annual statistical information to aid planning and implementation* Reviewing and continuously improving plans to improve efficiency.* Providing accurate and effective information to stores and sites regarding the plan, including feedback channels to aid engagement.* Coaching and influencing depot teams to maximise service and efficiency, and ensure delivery of all commercial targets on the depot balance scorecardExperience & Skills Transport Planner* Experience in a transport /dispatch / planning related role previously* Experience of transport planning and working with Paragon* Good Excel user* IT systems general knowledge* Can do attitude, team work* Able to be assertive as required* Influencing skillsHow to apply for the Transport PlannerThe first stage of the application process is to apply online.
