Mobile Maintenance EngineerLutterworth, Leicestershire£37k + £1,200 bonus + van + 33 days holiday (with the option to buy more) + generous pension + extensive and generous overtimeOur client is recognized as one of the UKs market leaders in the area of automated materials handling solutions, and as a result of imminent retirement of a long established and valued employee, they are now looking to recruit a multi discipline, electricallybiased mobile maintenance engineer to complement their established and successful existing team.Working as part of a team and based primarily out of an impressive distribution hub on the Magna Park industrial estate in Lutterworth, the successful mobile maintenance engineer candidate will be tasked with conducting predictive, planned, and reactivemaintenance on a range of automated conveyor systems, mini load, maestro and gondola cranes and associated equipment within a busy automated warehouse environment whilst ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety requirements at all times.Additionally there will occasionally be facilities maintenance activities required on site incorporating both site building repairs and associated equipment, and it is essential that you will be comfortable in working safely at height as required.You will be responsible for monitoring the operation and site activity as a whole and ensuring any stoppages are dealt with promptly and efficiently, investigating issues as they may arise and recording them on the breakdown sheet as required, and assistingin both breakdown repair activities as well as project installation or equipment relocation activities as necessary.In addition to the Magna Park site maintenance work, as the role is a mobile maintenance engineer position, you will also be required to provide additional shift cover for site engineers at neighbouring sites in the Midlands region when they are on plannedholiday, periods of sickness or training, and this will include shift patterns dependant upon the requirements of those customer sites, so a full clean UK driving licence is essential for the position to allow for travel between sites and use of the companyvehicle.Also, due to the nature of some customer sites, you will additionally be required to satisfy basic DBS security checks.Contact the Maintenance Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
