We are a growing business and there are plenty of opportunities to develop, so this really is a great time to join us!Job DescriptionInformation Technology is an area that is particularly expanding for us, and we are now looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team. Given our extensive network we have some flexibility regarding location (although somewhere around the Midlands wouldbe ideal for us).Working as part of the IT Service Delivery Team, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of IT lead projects. The Project Manager will be the work stream lead, plan resources and govern those projects accordingto tight deadlines, within set and agreed budgets.Were looking for someone who has proven project management experience, has successfully managed multiple projects of varying size, can build strong relationships with the ability to manage stakeholders, and will think outside the box when under pressure.You should be an excellent communicator, with sound knowledge of IT applications. Previous experience in logistics / FMCG would be a great advantage. If you also have experience in the successful implementation of complex projects and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment, then this might be the role for you.Key Duties include:

• Facilitate the definition of the project scope, requirements and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop, control and communicate the project plan, timeline and milestones
• Track and report project deliverables to the project team and stakeholders
• Manage Risk, Issues and Changes on an ongoing basis
• Produce reports for key stakeholders as required by the PMO Framework
• Responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating the team
• Where 3rd party contract negotiations are required, the Project Manager will work with the relevant procurement team to ensure that procedures are followed
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
• Quickly gain confidence of the business and colleagues through good communication and influencing skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant solid project management experience
• Business and/or computing related apprenticeship/degree
• Proven experience in people management, project planning, requirements management, change management, supplier management, risk & issue management
• Proven experience in sponsor and stakeholder management
• Ability to think out the box and when under pressure
• Experience in reviewing strategy, understanding, and applying to project based work
• Excellent communicator
• Knowledge of IT applications
• Experience in the successful implementation of complex projects
• Ideally previous experience in Warehousing, Logistics, FMCG
• Willingness to travel as and where needed
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if required
• Ideally centrally based in the UK (although we have flexibility on location)
