Job Description

We are looking to recruit a First Line Manager with experience of working in a fast-paced E-com logistics environment.The main purpose of the role is to manage effective delivery of the relevant shift, ensuring targets are met in accordance with Company and customer requirements. You will provide effective communication, leadership, motivation as well as training & development.Candidate Specification

  • Professional and approachable attitude.
  • Self-motivated with a positive can do approach to work.
  • Reliable
  • Comfortable working calmly to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience working in similar roles within logistics or similar
  • Experience of managing a team of a minimum 40 colleagues +
  • Previous experience of leading a team of operatives in wide scale operation
  • Experience of handling employee relation issues
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise a high volume of new joiners
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • The ability to maintain very high levels of accuracy in the processing and provision of management information
  • Well-developed communicator both verbal and written
  • Proactive, creative and highly organised
  • Experience in dealing with colleague requests and coping under pressure whilst maintaining focus is essential
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems
  • Computer literate including MS Office packages
Night Shift - 4 on 4 off£30,305 plus £1800 Night Shift Allowance
